You don't need be logged in to mark your favorites.  You can do the same for performances using the little mic/gold record emblems.

We’re working on a way to let you easily make and share top ten lists.  While you can play with the controls they’re not quite being saved yet.  It will probably require a registration in order for the computer  to remember your preferences  to display in a share-able  form And to let your ranking give more credit to your  favorites than those lower down your favorite list.
